The Company’s main product is TurboScribe®, a unique combination of medical transcription software and service. With TurboScribe®, physician practices can halve its transcription costs, while greatly improving office productivity and simplifying record-keeping. When using TurboScribe®, the physician dictates a patient note and sends the file over the Internet to iMedX’s transcriptionists. The transcription is then sent back over the Internet within 24 hours where it is presented to the physician in a unique database format. From any Internet-connected computer, the physician can review the transcription, play back his original dictation, electronically sign the document, and automatically fax or email it to referring physicians. The transcription then remains in the TurboScribe® database as a permanent, searchable record for subsequent review.
